- To nurture the interest of secondary school students especially from Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan and Johor in mathematics.
- To identify mathematically talented secondary school students from targeted locations in Malaysia.
- To introduce and promote the programme offered by the Department of Computational and Theoretical Sciences (CTS) and Kulliyyah of Science to participated students and teachers.
- To strive for achieving universal education goals in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 4 – Quality Education) by promoting mathematical activities.
